About ME

I am a physician and researcher at the University of Washington, in the Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine.

My research is multidisciplinary and crosses several areas, including health services, epidemiology and most recently technology-based translational research. My research currently involves finding ways to use commodity devices to help solve public health challenges. My current project areas include acute opioid overdose and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. To do this work I collaborate with the UW Mobile Systems Lab and colleagues in addiction and pre-hospital medicine.
